I picked up Cruisecontrol's old exhaust off his Bandit and tried to fit it to my 7/11 and.....the fucker didn't fit!!! The collector fowls on the sump. Are the Bandit sumps different to the 1127 motor to allow for the collector? Here's some photo's just in case your not pickiing up what i'm putting down...

I think I read on oldskoolsuzuki that a 1058 sump would make it work....is it true?

I just grabbed a sump from Metro spares for $100. I can see now how it will work. It has a "cut out" to allow the exhaust to tuck in toight to the frame.

Did you get the pick up as well, I'm told they are different.

Nah, I didn't. Didn't even think of that to be honest! Eh I'll worry about it when I get back from holidays.

Oh and while I was at Metro's I asked about a K2 front end and he wanted $2K!! Is he fucking for real? Is that the sort of money you guys are paying for complete USD's?

Mine cost me about $800 all up. Forks & triples off ebay and the rest from the good folk here at ASF.

Metro's charge what ever they want because they have all the good bits. i got K4 forks off em for $750 a while ago, and I thought that was a bit steep (but it was insurance money so I didn't mind).
You could try SMW in alexandria 9565 7788, they don't have as big a range, but the prices aare a shitload better.

Or try Brisons MCW even. I just picked up a VFR750 SSSA complete including the axle bolts as it bolts out at the main nut for $550. Rim, tyre, brakes yada yada yada.

Well worth a look there lads since Metro wanted $1200.

As for the USD's? got mine for $410 inc shipping from Melbourne which I reckon is a good price. Especially when it's got the triples, axle head stem and brake pots.
