Anyone have a supplier for good value rear springs? I need a heavier spring and have looked at the racetech stuff, but i thought someone might have another source.

cheers

do you have a local spring maker they can often make springs to your requirements, i had some done for one of my tin tops a while ago.

I have no idea about a spring maker. I looked on the racetech site and they recommend a 16.5kg/mm but only supply up to a 15kg and said to "use the closest available". The stock spring is a 14.6kg/mm so i dont see the point buying a spring for .4 of a kg change. I am getting 35mm tail risers so i will fit those, set the sag properly and see how it feels.

Try IKON, in Albury. The guy bought out the old KONI spring business, or something like that.

I had the rear shock off my old EFE rebuilt by RAD Shocks in Brissy....admittedly it was about 6 years ago...was pretty cheap.....but I remember picking it up and they had a huge pile of monoshock springs just laying around the workshop - could be worth a call.
