well by the lookes of that just jump on it and ride it half the works done for you! but i'd say most people would leave it alone if it looks like that so the price will stay fairly low. but you have to remember that theres still alot of work for you to do even if it does go cheap. and i think theyre alright bikes so yeah if its the right price its worth it?

Tough call on what it would go for - depends on who's there, blah, blah....It's pretty new....I've seen 04/05 models in Bris with similar damage go for around $4-5K, but that may not be the same as WA. It would be from an insurance co so they would probably have a decent reserve on it, too (06 model).

Dont forget to add in Fowles admin fees (6.6%) and write-off inspection ($330 in QLD, WA??). It all adds up.
Good luck - would be a top project though!

The mid 90s 600s at the same auction could go fairly cheap.
People want the latest and greatest and forget about anything more than 5 yrs old

That wheelie went a bit wrong didn't it? That looks like a perfect Streetfighter base if the money is right. The tail took the impact by the looks of things. If the damage is just from the subframe back, that a perfect excuse for a new tail end - steel frame as well if I remember, so easy to work with. The rest of it just looks like cosmetic shit. It is listed as a write-off though so could be big bucks and big weight just for a stunter bike.
