I hadn't been on this site when all this happenned. looking at the members bikes and stuff i'm a bit dissapointed i didn't make it a fighter. but i'm happy with the results for now. might get a cheap project bike to stunt/crash in the future.

I had a VTR at the start of the year - tidy package through the twisties. My mate on his GSXR750 couldn't keep up with me through the corners - love that engine braking.

Just chuck a single rad on the front and fighter the fuck out of it - don't see enough of them done. I've only ever seen one.

They can run a single radiator all that needs to be don is to run the inlet hoses into a "Y" Piece and the same on the outlet for the radiator as well. Quite a simple mod to do with the exception of mounting the radiator at the front anyway, but once it's done they look pornographic.

Had I not sent mine to the big racetrack in the sky yrs ago after looping it I would have had it done. They also get an awesome horsepower boost from a 2 into 1 exhaust. I had mine done by Pete (I think that's his name) at Dynomach exhausts at Lawnton/Brendale/Strathpine area. Holy Hell what a difference to the top end. went strong down low like any normal twin and then really launched from around 6500rpm to the red line like a two stroke power band kicking in. Was well worth the expense of having it done and it looks totally different too.

Nice job cleaning up the radiator Satin. Does it heat up a bit now that there is only one. My old girl used to overheat if I looked at it the wrong way.

I never had any issues with mine overheating but thats cause I was on the back wheel or throwing it down the road or speeding through the hills. I used to run it at 2 speeds fast and fasterer. Maybe why I lost me licence so many times. I will admit they are a great thing for the twisties once you drop the forks through about 1 1/2 inches they handle like greased lightning then and the drive out of the corners running in the mid range is sensational too. whats even better is they're so cheap to buy now. May have to get me a stunter vtr. That'd be fun...
