My mate Adrian is selling his 2000 mod. ZX9, For what it's worth, it was an immaculate & extremely well looked after bike before he crashed it, he's the second owner, he bought it with 5K on it & the rest of the mileage is just gentle sports touring & commuting (& 1 1/2 Trackdays) stuff, it's now got 60 K on it & is mechanically perfect & is started & run weekly. The bike had a tumble at a trackday at Broadford when the poor bugger was taken out by a dickhead on a Gixer who got his ambitions mixed up with his abilities :(
Anyway, the plastics were all trashed along with the instruments, fairing frames, etc so it's a decent prospect for a Streetfighter, the tank has a couple of little dings in it, the headlights are intact but have a couple of tabs broken off, the frame has 1 crack on the top of the main spar each side which could definately be welded successfully, Adrian has straightedged & stringlined everything in & out of the bike & the good news is it all looks nice & straight.
The even better news is that the bike has never been reported as crashed to Police or insurance companies so it's a snap to re register it without the hassle & expense of V.I.V or W.O.V.I or whatever Certificates.
The pics are pre & post crash, the post crash ones were taken when the bike got home from the track, it looks a lot better than that now.
Anyway, just putting it out there for him, he wants $2500 for it - EDIT - NOW 2 GRAND, PM me for his No. if you're interested.
