Hey all, I recently had some farkwit in a 4WD break both my Warrior and my pelvis. Once I can walk and ride again I am going to need a new bike. (The warrior was a lot more broken than me) As there are no more warriors coming into australia I have to decide wether to buy a different bike or a second hand warrior. People are starting to ask ridiculous money for good warriors and the ones that are cheap are also a bit dodgy.
My question to you all is - What is the goss on the Suzuki B-King 1300. It looks different (which is what I am after)but as I have not been following the market I have never heard of it before and as it has a street fighterish style straight of the floor I was hoping you guys could give me the good oil.
The other bike I am contemplating is the Yamaha MT01 (because it has a warrior engine and I am biased).
Which ever way I go in the end it will have to be heavily modified because we all know - Stock bikes suck.

There are a few threads running on this and other forums.
Basicaly....
If you want a Naked Bike, and you want Hayabusa type performance,
Suzuki tune-ability, and Sportsbike running gear with GSX14 type
grunt, nothing else does it.
The bike has its faults. 16.5ltr tank means you plan for servo's,
NOT at all pillion friendly, looks are questionable.
MT01's are OK, depends how you ride. I've been out to play with them
and they just dont have the go when pace warms up a bit.
ozwarriorrider, check your Email for the links...;)

I let Sasha have a 75k blast on mine today,
She had never rode a bike 6 month's a go but
seem's to have got the idea, she rides the Busa OK.
She hadn't rode the B-K before though.
She found out that, YES, they do pull harder in
6th gear roll-on's than a Busa, and NO, its not
F@ckin funny to do F1-11 style fly-by's when im on
her SV650 !
She seemed suitably impressed with a grin, big eye's,
and swearing when she got off !

Pommy, you cold be right. It is kinda cool that bike. But it goes so well with your handbag that you had better keep it.
Tony, thanks for all the info. It has definately piqued my interest even though pommychopper says "NO" to suzuki. I still have a soft spot for them from my old katana days. My favourite being an all black 750 flip flop (pop up headlight model).
Jockney - the warrior may look like a tank but it is an awesome machine that begs to be ridden harder than any cruiser should.

Mine was an 1100SD.

the main stream for some folk.

I'm biased (Because I bought one) but the "B King" is pretty good i haven't done many k's but so far it's the smoothest, best riding position (for an old fat bastard) and it has a clock.
seriously take one for a ride you'll like [8D]

Mate go the Suzie. You don't want a Bullfrog. Even a 97yo grandmother would ride faster than they go.
Then again with a stoopidcharger they may take your breath away. Hmmm decisions decisions...
Nup go the Suzie fo sure...

Power to weight ratio is no better than a B-King,
5 speed, Shaft-drive, 15ltr fuel tank,
18" tyres, 310+kg's,
and all at a bargin 16,500 UK pound's.

I know its not popular to not like the BKing... but it is the very essence of the joke about "what is a Camel? "a horse designed by a committee".... The BKing is a naked bike designed by a committee

You can always find a gently used Busa and do it up yourself. Can save a lot of money that way. I built mine before the B King came out and am still happy with it. Sure its a bit down on power and the brakes are a little bit less than the new Busa/ B-King but it still works great.
