Hello Everybody!

Can anyone advise what is checked at an annual NSW blue slip inspection of a 15+ year old bike?

Specifically, are the discs measured?

If they are, does anyone know if the NSW requirement is the same as the Vic requirement?

Cheers

There's no annual blue slip inspection. Blue slip is for a vehicle which has been unregd for more than 3 months. What they check depends on how much they know...car places usually dont know much.

Annual inspection is pink slip and if you take it to a car place they'll prolly just check your tyres, lights and horn.

Thanks Large,

Checked - it was the pink slip i needed to ask about.

I've been advised discs are not specifically checked.

As an aside, with how little seems to be checked I don't understand why NSW keeps bothering to force everyone to have the vehicles checked.

None of us living in NSW understand anything.
