Last time I saw that Kat for sale it was on Trading Post with $20,000 on it. What happened lol ??

Nice looking machine though... anyone know the history ?

I wish people would detail the mods rather than writing something lame like "too many mods to list".... no such thing to a Fighter Fan :D

Baaaah, the bike shop i used to work at has a 7/11 Kat for sale with a Joe Marshall 1240 kit, wire wheels etc, etc, & just had a full tune & service.
Goes like the fuckin clappers & they only want $7,500 for it.

Looked at one last week.
Normal wear and tear, nothing flash. Crappy respray,
lumps and bulges in the tank over what I think was body-filler.
cracks in the side panels.

$7,000........:(

As He says in his Question & Answer
"Q: hi seller what work was done to produce the hp on this bike. 07-Aug-08
A: Hi mate, The bike was worked by Bikecare; Jamie has a lot of experience with Suzuki motors as they use to race them in circuit races. The motor had 1173 forged pistons, valves cut and worked, head ported and gas flowed, compression raised, cams slotted and dialed-in. Just basic to keep it original"

Jamie built this in maybe 03 I think, the above is mostly true except I don't think the head is gas flowed but the guy who did it is good. At the time the paint was perfect the lettering is painted not stickers and I think the border on the lettering has little flames
If it has been looked after it should be still a good bike. Dunno about $ 9,800.00 though, but old school stuff is starting to get up there these days.
Atleast he's not talking GPZ900 money ($15.000.00:))

A bit off topic, Does jamie still own the business where bike care was? i went past a few weeks ago and it is no longer called bike care.
