finally got the bike stripped just need to get the swing arm off do these unscrew or do you have to hit them out because the bolt wont budge

It wouldn't unscrew. Would be jammed in there due to age mate.

Find something of the same diameter, but a softer material to hit it with, like bronze. Avoid any damage

Turn it sideways and give a good squirt of Penetrating Oil . Penatreen is what I use and after three days a sharp hit should move it

Heat M8 , Heat and penatreen are they like the hondas with a locking flange nut type set up that has to be loosened of first?

just don't get the heat anywhere near the bearings and rubber seals around the bearings if u go that way

getting a stainless steel radiator and oil cooler surroond made at the moment just thought i would show my progress so far

My zx-12r unscrewed - grab a work shop manual off the pornonet or just go to bikebandit.com They have OEM catalogue microfische of everything and you might be able to tell from an exploded view just what it does.
