She will be a Ratfighter when complete, my budget does not allow for shiny things.
My budget doesnt even allow for petrol at the moment, but that is another story.

I dont own a car, I dont own many tools, I dont have a shed. I ride Suzy to work and back five days a week, so it will be a slow project involving mods that dont take her off the road for more than a day or two at most.

So far I have stripped the front fairings off, and added a pair of 2008 model something-or-other-scooter mirrors, mounted through two existing holes in the headlight support frame thing.

The mirrors cost me $20 for the pair and I convinced the salesman to unscrew them off one of the two display bike at a sunday market.
I needed two nuts and four washers to hold the mirrors on, so I rode 80 km and traded a kit-kat for the extra parts, I love my Dad :)

Suzy aint pretty, but she's faithful.

I love it. :D

Bling is for posers anyway. Character is made, not bought.

Nice job.

Cool, I recommend you take all the plastic off the tail and just have the subframe and the seats.

Not sure about the back side plastics, possibly going to make some thing 'skinnier' from fibreglass, and intend to make a rack and small lock box to replace the back seat so I can tour or put the seat back to take a pillion.

Wonder how the K'll look with new seat and painted black?
I love photoshop...even though I battle with it.

I have some very vague plans to change the headlight, instruments, swingarm, and rear subsection. photoshop is great for seeing 'WHAT IF?'

It all depends on what I can scrounge up for the right price :)

spent all my pocket money on rubber, brake pads and a pretty gold link chain!

that gold chain sounds supiciously like bling - hit it with the rattle can
stick some grass in the frame and zip tie a dead animal to it and your rat fighter will be completed ;)

I used to ride with a guy who had a FJ that was basically ocky strapped and taped together, but man the guy could ride....ask the 4 fireblade riders that got smoked by an FJ and a KLR-250 along the coast road hahahahahaha

The chain is dull gold links, not shiny, and as for road kill...I live in the country, i get road kill real regular!

Oh, and being a postie, I have a bunch of rubber bands wrapped around the clutch lever bracket from deliveries I do before I collect the postie bike!
