View Full Version : Drilling Yoke for risers.

Ullo.

I'm about to fit risers but before I drill the yoke I should find out where the best place is..

Should I drill fresh holes or is it safe to drill out and widen the existing holes from the clip-ons. I think, from the looks of it, the existing holes are 6mm and they will need to be drilled to 10mm.

Just cause I know I'm probably not making sense, see attached pic, its an R1 yoke, not the TRX, but its the same shit.

I drilled mine in the same spots. Just gotta make sure you drill straight. ;)

Some info - GPR make an under-bar stabilizer that uses those holes to mount to. I've got one on my bike and the bar risers sit atop the stabilizer bracket, adding some more bar height.

just remember its illegal to drill into a cast part in the ACT.

Looks like I'll have to buy a yoke pre-drilled then;)
