that torry was running 9.60's ten years ago with a 454 with shrunken ports, i saw the ports and thought how does it eve run!

4V Clevo heads were filled up with epoxy to improve the shape and effectively made the port smaller, Pro Stockers used to modify the 4V exhaust ports by cutting out a slab and replacing an insert which once again made the port much smaller (required significant machining) but they ran 9's back in the 80's with it so i guess it worked.
