What year carbs? I put a set of '88 gsxr 34mm carbs on a z1100 running pods. could not get it to run without changing needles/ pilot jets and a lot of tinkering. But made good horsepower on the dyno when sorted. only took them off to fit smoothbores. Still got the carbs and the jetting notes/specs for them if thats of any use.

Zed its an 86 GSXR 1100 standard 34mm running K&N pods would love the Notes and do ya want blood money for your old carbs?

O.K. I dug up the notes. The carbs are 86-88 gsxr carbs. I bought a factory pro supersport kit that came with two different sets of needles and bigger mains. I needed to change the primaries as well to suit the two valve engine, but still have orrginals. That cost $150. I put in new needles and seats for $80 and new float bowl gaskets $50. Replaced all screws with cap screws. They were on the bike for about 6months, and have been on the shelf for about another 6. The diaphrams are all good, the only issue is a couple of the idle mixture screws are a bit worn, so was a bit fiddly to set up, was going to buy new ones but got good deal on a new set of smoothbores so never did. There is no pods with them as they fitted on the smoothies. Still have tuning paperwork that came with kit. All up including original purchase price they owe me about $450. So how does $140 plus p&h sound

carb settings as requested.

this took me 11 goes to get right a sniffer and plenty of patience...

PIlot: 32.5
Mix: 2.5 turns
Main: 155
Float: 14mm
Needle (from top): 2

then synched the carbs.

According to my notes, there were no flat spots and no boginess off idle.
new emulsion tubes were also fitted at the time.
these carb settings were made at sea level.

Hope this helps

Cheers
