it was best to get that behind us before another weekend away.

I drove up there a month or so ago after 24hrs of being awake and an 8hr shift at work, left my place at 2am, on the way up i was like.. Fuck. look at these long straight pointy bits of road! went back from 1770 to home via bundaberg, what a fucking abortion of a road! the way a local talked it up its like it was the deluxe, luxury model of bitumen apparel! it was fucked!

I didnt see a single cop car on the way up or back.

Had an awesome weekend tho, so laid back I nearly slipped into a coma a few times just walking around, I wondered what it would be like to ride all that way, wouldn't have to talk to the mrs for 7hrs straight!

At the moment i am bussy with a new bussiness that i have set up, and almost all of the work is done on the weekends, how ever i have an employee that i am looking at making supervisor and if all goes well with him i should be able to take the weekend off.

Have a good one! Just a couple of tips depending on which way you go. Cops around Miriam Vale are usually pretty thick (take that whatever way you want) and there is a fuel/van park/BAR!) stop at a place called Colleseum Creek(i think thats what its called) on the Bruce highway before the Miriam Vale turnoff that is bike friendly. Damn cold beer too. Oh and the "Tree Bar" at 1770 aint too shabby either.:D

Inland of the highway as far as there's decent roads.
Up the highway a while.
Onto the Coast side of the highway for the last section.

Came back Highway all the way.
Shifted LOTS of Bundy and Cola and were all pretty F@cked!

I tried to organize a ride up to 1770 on another forum that I used to be admin, and help run until the ex mate who founded it, showed how much of an untrusting rat he was.. (another story to be told at another time) and I still want to go up there.. I sussed out lodging etc and found a few place that have great view, for a reasonable price.. get the whole house etc. Im really keen and there are apparently some good roads to follow on the way up there. ..
So the question is, when is this to happen ( I might have skimmed over it) ?

Done this twice already, both time were fun.
Going to make it an annual thing,
