All you need to do is hit the starter as thats enough for the magnetic field to trigger the relay.
This is one of those items that will work (its just a large magnet) but is a waste of money.
Or you could get a decent sized magnet one out of your computer would do and attach it to the bottom of your bike its all the same.

iv never had a prob with my bike, even my ktm in canberra with the lights.

I always had a problem at William Webb and Moynihan. Never tripped for me, ever.

I have one near my street that never trips so I have to either wait for a car or just run the red. I usually run the red.

Ah theres a few lights that do that in bris.. fuckin things iv legged it through some in the early hours.
