Fugly as a toad, but you have to admit he did a good job making it, even if you'd have it no where near your bike.

" I now sport a skateboard style motorcycle skid lid "

That says it all right there. A lot of engineering thought gone into it but not a lot of common sense.

It reminds me of that old story of NASA engineering a pen that will write in zero gravity and when they showed it off, the Brits handed them a pencil.

Farkn, he may aswell drive a car.

That might be handy for practicing stoppies.

I was thinking that. He should take it to the front of the guard so he can roll over with stoppies...

I'd like to order one in HiVis yellow for my DR.

Yeah, but like you said, notice what he though it would look good on...;)

I love folk thinking a bit "out-side-the-box" but some folk are
outside of the room, over the road and down the f#ckin street !!!

Quote from the text.
quote:What originally started as a remedy to keep the rain off of my face while commuting daily from Ensenada, Mexico to San Diego, has now evolved into a whole new riding experience with results that have far surpassed any of my previous expectations.

I just wear a Helmet.;)

Triumph tried something like that years ago. think it was called the Quazar. I remember seeing a pic of, I think Joey Dunlop, or someone, riding one on their way to get knighted by the queen. I'll have to check my books. Till then, check this out. http://dvice.com/archives/2008/04/a_fighter_jet_a.php

Wow at just $82,350 these babies will sell like hot cakes. Motorcycles or as they would call it non-cabin cycles will be a thing of the past [XX(]

I remember the Quasar thingy. I was very afraid of it - it didn't look like fun at all and I was afraid all motorcycles where gonna go that way.

This latest "genius" flies in the face (pun intended) of typical Harley riders who don't want to wear a helmet at all and experience the "wind in the hair" feeling of freedom.

Actually, my sick sided sense of humour would like to see one of those screen thingyjigs on a Harley. :D

Actually these "things should be stamped out aggressively.......What happens if the Gumberment thinks the are a Good Idea ?

Nope I was wrong. It was the road-race champion Phil Read who rode one to Buck Pal to collect his MBE in 1980.
Wanna see the pic? http://www.voidstar.com/bff/quasar.html

Dont worry bladehunter these things have a way of stamping themselves out
