Anyone know if it a difficult job to replace?

Trying to find a service manual and looked on the sticky with all the manuals (thanks to all who set that up) but can only find a parts manual for my bike.

Faily sure its that oil seal that requires replacing as when the bike is on its side stand oil runs down the stand to the floor.

Just trying to owrk out the work and tools involved before i give it a bash or take it down the shop for and leave it to the pro's.

No idea what the cost would be though?

Eazy as mate it comes out from the outside and gos in the way it came out, just be carefull not to damage the new seal when taping it in , saying that they are cheep enough to buy 2 just in case, also if its not your only transport take it out and buy it of a baring & seal place much cheeper.

cheers mate, i do have a car aswell but takes forever to get through city traffic in that so prefer to keep the bike roadworthy and work on it during the weekend.

Think i might try replacing the seal if its as easy as you reckon,

Just start striping everything off till the gear lever comes free?

Any ideas what oil to replace it with too once the other stuff has pissed all over my driveway?
