So who's going? I've scored myself a free camping pass so I'm deffinately going. I'll be there at least Friday through Sunday leaving Monday.

Couldn't see a link on the Phillip Island site for tickets - anyone know where to buy these? Whats the best one to get?

Once there - are you allowed to bring your own alcohol onto the site? Whats the go with camping? I'll be in the officials camp ground - no idea what that means. Anyone able to fill me in on some detail?

Yeah I'l be there with some of the lads! We r staying in cowes tho! I cant wait! Its gonna be HUGE!!!

I think you have to register first, will post tickets to you or you can pick them up at the gate. General admission is the go mate, no need for a grandstand seat.
Not supposed to bring booze in but security is pretty slack
Be prepared to get fucken cold and fucken wet or maybe fucken hot or a combination of all the above[}:)]
No idea about the officials camp site, probably have to be tucked away in bed by 9pm;)

speaking of this
i got an invite in the mail to put the bike into the show 'n' shine

so if anyone is interested in secure parking for their fighters i would apply now-ish

keep in mind that other than some AWESOME bikes in last years show 'n' shine there was also a Hyosung with a slip-on pipe...
so its pretty much open for anyone LOL

Thanks Gibbo - glad they'll be tucking me into bed at 9:00 - do you know if they supply a warm glass of milk as well ;)

So - who's in? I'm going to be soft and drive down from Qld so if anyone wants gear taken down just say.

No plans as yet to which roads we go - probably whatever is the most direct. My ute is fun but not 20 hours fun. [XX(]

Yeh dunno which one is quicker! I kno which one is nicer, but I dont think that really matters hey! :D

I reckon I might be leaving here on the thursday and breaking the trip into 2 days but otherwise road trippin is always good mate. Will see which way we end up going. Still 4 months away - but better to plan now. Gotta book my holidays.
