Rego Issues

Hey folks!
Ive just bought Deano's Gixxer 7/11 from VIC & im wondering what problems, if any, I may have with registering it in NSW due to the fact the engine is the 1100 & not the standard 750?
Has anyone had experience with this? If so were there any issues?
Any advice would be fantastic lads.

I beg to differ. It's only easy if the bike has been registered in the same state with that engine. It needs to be Engineered as the engine is more than 15% larger in capacity . Have a talk to Pete Smiths Engineering at Camden for the lowdown on what is required as they are pretty decent . While there are ways that people have used to get around it from time to time the bottom line is that a 7/11 in most states requires an Engineers Certificate. As most fighters won't pass Engineers the way they are you can expect a fair bit of work to undo much of the cool bits on the bike to make it pass. Like I said , have a talk to Smiths and get it first hand what you really need.
