Just a quick pic of my new headlight set up. It's still a work in progress, but you get the idea. Projector beam lights 55w low, 75w high and alloy duster bracket.

Looking good mate, I was checking out that guard or one similar, did ya get it from Stu?

paint it and chuck an insanely nice carbon fibre shorty on it and your bike will make girls wet and guy's jealous

Are u sure itl work fatman? Coz i may just have to do that too if thats the case! :D

Iceman

Ivan, no I got away with this one.:D

Darren, funny you should mention that, coz I was talk'n to someone the other day about do'n it when this engine expires.;)

Rod, it's the same as what Stu sells, I got it from my local distributer, BanditRod.[:0]

FFM, it is painted. It's a shit job as I did most of it myself, but I like the white. Might get it done properly one day with a pearl through it. As for the shorty, I don't need one, it's not all that loud, as the turbo defuses the sound abit.[}:)]

Fucken mint man. what about the yamaha trx 850 or tdm twin? just a thought. Wouldn't you rather start a new project with the whole sv650 than arse around poking a vtwin into that frame.

Head lights are tough.

You obviously think the rest of this bike just fell together. I can't see it any more challenging than any other modification I done. Besides, I'd have to sell this one to buy another and really, who would buy a fightered GS500?

You obviously think thats what I thought, and I think you just answered your own question. So would it work out cheaper to repower the gs than buy a wrecked or cheap sv or tl? If you have access to a sv650 engine that makes sense.
