Power Commander???

Something I heard the other day was if a bike has a Power Commander fitted and if the battery was removed from the bike the PC would have to be remapped again ,is this true? what if your bike was dynotuned would you have to re-dyno it again? Can anyone shed some light on this?cheers.

never heard of that bloke., Mine had the battery in and out more times then I can count and it never lost the map. soooooooooooooo

Ive got a PC3 on the Busa as well as a Microtec computer and a Eboost controller and removed the lot to rebuild the top end on it, No problems nothing needed remapping as far as i know.
