Just wondering how to connect a LED on my new dash to the existing fuel light circuit. I've tried switching it through a miniture relay, no good. Any ideas?

You need to make one of these, 3w globe, small 1A or 5A relay ( from jaycar)
Red wire goes from a switched positive to one side of the relay coil via one side of the globe it also connects to the switched (comm)input on the relay(assuming you want a positive switched circut to your LED), Black wire goes from the tank sensor to the other side of the relay coil via the other side of the globe, & yellow goes to the LED.
Then tape it all up & tuck it away somewhere convenient.

When testing it on the bike the globe will light up slowly then when it's lit up the relay will click & your LED will come on.

Thanks Ben. I spose the globe draws enough current to switch the relay.
Never would of thought of that myself but knew someone must of solved it somehow.
Appreciated.
