I cut this can down last night to use on my fighter. It was about 8ft long before, it looks a lot better now.
Can someone give me a run down of how i would be able to paint it black. Does that VHT flameproof primer and matt black work?
The cylinder is polished aluminum and the end looks to be stainless.

You don't need flameproof paint on a muffler (they don't get as hot as the headers), so engine enamel will work OK.

Light wet and dry until the sheen is gone, then paint away.

Thanks hillsy, sounds pretty straight forward. I give that a crack.
