Turbo joined up the other day and showed us his warrior but he also sent me this which I think a few of you will be more interested in - Cool or what!?:

"Old school streetfighter, GSX1100 in a GS frame, Talon hub, Akront rims, rear is 5.75". As tired as it is, it still pulls pretty respectable times down the quarter, 11.7"

Thsnks heaps for the rap. I can't take credit in building it, but i certainly can take credit in getting it sideways as much as possible. I've owned it now for about 6 years and it still doesn't miss a beat. It's not as flash looking now compared to the photo i posted, as in it needs a polish desperately, but it still turns heads. I swapped it for a very clean and tidy Kat 1100 in a roundabout way and havn't looked back since. I loved the Kat, but it was too good to butcher up, so next best thing was the Bullfrog. I call it that cause it's as ugly as one. But how can you not love something that slammed and fat. I still get more of a buzz riding that than the Warrior. It's like taking two rotties for a walk chasing a cat. Fun with a capital F. Cheers.

Awesome. So low and black and shiny...
The GSX11 into GS idea has been plaguing me for ages, I've been hunting for a decent GS frame to build a Cafe (I hate the term) style machine. YOu just made me want to do it more :)

Glad to see you guys like the 'Frog. Hopefully i've inspired some people. I did have visions of upside down front end, Gixer rims and brakes maybe a Gixer head, but it was too pure in old skool vibe to touch it. When it's fully rebuilt one day, the only mod will be a Supercharger neatly tucked away behind the motor. As for the motor, if i can sell one of my kidneys my wish list is long. Falicon crank, Falicon rods, Yoshi pistons, get my mate to tikle the head accordingly, some cams to suit, and the right blower, I guestimate that around 200 to 250hp would be possible. I'm sick of pulling up at lights with it, as cool as it looks and getting blown away by a fuckin 600. To me the GSX will always reign supreme though. It's the 426 Hemi to the bike world, fuckin fast and fuckin tough. I'll be taking it to the show, so if anyone's keen to have a look, come along to the Brisbane Street & Custom Bike Show at 31 Unwin St Moorooka. Check out the details on the SEQld ride forum page. Cheers to all.

Nah, more like the Big Block Chev of the bike world, the CBX is the 426 ;)

426 Hemi is God in drag circles of old and so is the GSX 1100 engine. Most top fuel motors are loosely based on the 426. Can't find a GSX engine cause most were used for dragracing in the 80's and 90's. Having said that, mate just got given a whole GSX100 bike complete, just hasn't run for 5 years. Fuckin tin arse he is. Now he wants to go the Bullfrog way but with more modern stuff on it. See how that pans out.

Hey Turbo, I should be able to track you down a motor in the katana circuit if`n your chasing one. Theres a couple of new boys that play around with big bore hot up`s in the group now, running 15-1600cc street bikes. There local to ,just up at morayfield !
The Bullfrog`s an awesome bike mate.
