Updated photos now without the stock blinkers
This is my ride I have had it since 1993. I have recently fitted a 1216 big bore kit, Gas flowed head, Camotion high lift cams on slotted sprockets and dialed in,Orient express valve springs, dyna coils and 2000 ignition, Taylor leads, A.P.E cylinder studs and nuts, A.P.E billet cam chain tensioner, 38mm Mikuni rs flat slide carbs with K&N air filters,Barnet clutch spring and plates, Cobra race series ss 4 into 1 exhaust, Nitron street and track rear shock, ABE wave style rear disc,ABE wave front discs, Tokico six pot calipers and braided brake lines and progresive racetech fork springs.Hel oil cooler and lines
This all adds up to a very exciting machine to ride.
This is my take on a street fighter subtle but different once you peer a little closer.
I am bringing this bike with me to Australia later this year or the early part of next when i move there for good.

Fug and shit i still cant resize the bloody photos

Hi ozkat Thanks for pointing this site out to me I have found loads of useful info.
gibbo I am going to settle in South Australia that is the terms of my visa and will be around the Ridgehaven area surrounding suburbs. Thanks for the comment on the bike mate I wasn't sure what reception it would get as it is not strictly the traditional street fighter style.

Looking forward to crossing the water and meeting a lot of you

The bike was totally standard for the first year i had it then i put a stage 3 dyno jet kit with a micron exhaust and it stayed like that until a couple of years ago thats when i done the rest of the work.
It was puting out 132bhp at the back wheel with just the stage 3 and micron but now it is puting out 168bhp at the back wheel there is room for more power if i skim a bit off of the head and raise the compression etc and this will push the power upto about 175bhp maybe 180bhp with some fine tuning of the cams aswell. It's a fun bike to ride it's like sitting in a catapault a full stretch and then it lets go what a ride

I just cant bring myself round to disrobing the bike I like too much how it is.
I do however agree about those BIG stock blinkers.
The back ones are not a problem to replace with some smaller ones that look good aswell but i cant find any that will look good on the front they look too small and leave a bloody great hole around the stem and that looks crap.
I have tried the flush fitting blinkers but they are not big enough to cover the hole from the original ones I think the flush fitting ones are the way to go just got to find some big enough. :)

How about some flush mount car blinkers?

15-08-2006, 10:40 AM
Thats a full swet lookin ride, some nice small blinkers like everyone says, dont ask rossco coz he will give you his with GAY rainbow lenses in em :). And when ya pull them mirrors off can i have em please ?.
Doc

hey its worth a shot . LOL

You can get (or better still, make your own) blanking plates to cover the holes left with the smaller indicators if you want standard shaped ones instead of flush mount.

No you cant have my mirrors Docktor they are staying put.
But i will bring a load of gsxr1100 spares with me when i move to Aus which of course i will put up for grabs on here at very cheap prices or swaps.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO. Bring spare mirrors then mate, They are rare as rockin horse shit here. I just got a blue pair for my gix and painting em up now but i had to sell my mrs to buy em. Good swap I reckon.

now that brings back memmories Alfie. I rekon that was the toughest lookin GSXR colour scheme ever built. Is that the 1 with 168HP ?

Thats the one Davo 168bhp at the back wheel and it's coming to live in Auss with me and i couldn't agree with you more about the colour scheme.

Looking at he bike as it is now and how it handles and performs so much better over a standard one is the reason i am not allowing myself to fighter it.

If it was a totaly standard bike i would have no problems in tearing it down and building a fighter.
