Not too sure what die cut graphics are but I assume you are going to clearcoat over them? If so you should not need to laminate them as the clear will protect them, unless they are digital prints then you might want to do a test first. Apparently some of the inks don't take too kindly to solvents, haven't had any problems myself but have been warned by a signwriter.

Some clears fall off vinyl transfers and stickers, some stick.
Some solvents in clears will eat the transfer and ruin the job.
From my experience if it's a proper good quality clear there usually isn't a drama.

I never knew you were such a Maiden fan mate. Is that $200 bucks for prints? What format do you have the artwork in and are you going to go ahead and lacquer over it? Your biggest problem will be the cutting around the edges mate. You may have to accept a rounded clear section around the hair on Eddie on the map image as that will be a nightmare to cut mask.

Once it's been cleared get a coat of flowcoat put over the top, that'll lose any lines.

used to hang out at the Ruskin arms a lot in walthmastow and got into em then... about 78/9.
.anyway im willing to accept a bit of clear as it will be obvious its not airbrushed [which id die for but cant afford ..2gs i got qouted for this little lot which i know is ok for the amount of work invloved but i just havent got that spare and on top of that ive got to get it sprayed ] i really want this bike to stand out but with out being too busy and it seemed obvious to combine my two greatest loves [apart from the wife and kids ]bikes and music .and seein as these two are both british thru and thru it made sense ..
i have the pics in hi-res jpg at the mo i cant seem to get the ps program or whatever it is the printer uses ..to work ive tried but its a bit beyond my capabilities..
lastly its about 200 bucks for the finished article

The biggest problem is you need to have a white backgound to get depth of colour, clear vinyl will just look washy on anyhting but white as you can see the colour underneath it. I can ask the guys where I work if you want as they do graphics and have the gear you need to do this. If they can do it for less than $200 I'll let you know. I'll find out next week now.
