I have a monster S4 and have been riding for many years. I love stoppies mono's, etc. Basically the simple stuff.

I have some noob questions relating to streetfighter setups and havnt found it in any of the other forum sections.

1. What springs are suggested (heavier or softer than stock front and rear)?
2. What about rebound/compression dampening, are they set to harder or softer than standard?
3. Why the low pressure in the rear tyre (or does it just look that way in the vids)?
4. Where can I get "dinner plate" rear sprokets and other streetfighter bits from?
5. Whats the prefered rear/rear sprocket teeth count?
6. Will a standard length chain do the job with a big rear sprocket?

Thanx for your help

Welcome!

For road use with ya Duke mate just go one tooth down at front from Stock and see how you like the response. Keep the rear sprocket stock or change the entire set up to a 520pitch. worked wonders on my Monster600 the entire 60hp of brutal power HAHA.

How ever if you want over sized rears for pure stunt use, head to the stunt section, i'm sure they can help you source what you will need.

Head to your nearest suspension guru to sort out whats best for you, your weight, type of riding etc

have a look at these links for fighter gear;

Oh and i need to add that if you really want to get into thrashin with a Monster, try and source a billet slave cylinder, cause the stock ones are shite!

Thanx guys.
My S4 has already had some work done to the bike already (F/R suspension, petal disks, carbon, injection map, airbox, etc).

Its not the kinda bike I wana throw down the road. :)
So I dont push the boundries on it as far as stunts go.

Id just liek to understand a stunt bike setup more.
