What is your skin worth to you?

How much will each extra day off work cost you?

I know nothhing about these leathers n boots.

Remember cheap shit is still shit.

Quality costs.

Had a look at some Joe Rocket leathers that had been down the road the other day that my mate the upholsterer was sowing back together, because they are not back stitched (?) they fall apart when sliding across bitumen, he said brands such as Tiger Angel are back stitched so they survive a lot longer therefore protecting you for a longer time. This was the second time he has sewn the same set of leathers for the same reason. Not happy as I own Rocket myself.

The boots from scorpion are decent bit of kit, i've got their leather pants, and GP boots (sold to a number of superstock, supersport riders), i've come off at speed with these and there's not a mark on them, still look like new.

I would deffinatly buy from scorpion again, unfortunatly i think there closing down.

Custom fitted are the only way to go. Got a 2 piece set made in '96 by DBT and they still fit like a glove. Mind tho they took $1300 outta my pocket, but they are well worth it

I bought one of the cheaper leather jackets off Ebay. After 3 years all the seems are still together, it has held on through two crashes. Nice thick leather. Remember with the more exy brands part of the cost is for the logo that sits on the tag.

While on the subject Ive been quoted $1500 (aussie dealer)for a set of Dainese Dainese Izalco 1pce Suit in black and Grey ( comes in a 2pc too). I know abit pricey and some may say your paying for the name, but compare the Cut/shape/armour and movement to a $2000 set of Alpinestars and personally i rekon its a much better buy.

If anyone can get me that suit cheaper let me know but I still think its pretty good concidering a base branded M2R suit starts at around the $800 mark.

Thnks for all the info Guys..
I have put a bid on a set of scorpion pants, and if that falls through those Hardwick leathers look good. Regarding sizing, hey _M_, my jeans are a size 34 and my waist is approx 39 inches, the seller advises that the size I am after is 56 Euro. going by the size on your leathers does that sound correct? I know this a gay question, but I just want to get the correct size and conversion charts seem to contradict each other.
cheers Rod

I wear a size 34 jeans with a belt, usually a 33 if i can find it (bloody hard), and the euro 48 is a little tight, (just more incentive to lose my gut i guess). I dont know if that helps.

Ohh, and Hardwick Racing is where i got my jacket, top quality stuff there too, looks to be very similar construction to those other leather pants you were looking at.
