The Zx is waiting for a few goodies to turn up, So I finally got around to pulling my TTR down and checking it out with the intention of starting it this weekend (hopefully) and learning how to do highchair wheelies next weekend[:p]

Got the original carbs or a set of ZZR 250 jobbies with pods to go on

I like how the trailies pull down to nothing with just a few bolts.

I had to stab the cunting cuntox airbox a couple of times but I still couldn't get the cunt to fit so I'm going to have a cup of tea before I attempt it again in the morning.

Maybe I should come over and give you a hand mate - I used to have that down to a fine art. Give me a ring if you need a hand.

Progress report-

Gave up on the airbox and invested in a pair of these

http://www.streetfighters.com.au/forum/upload/80805947369821.JPG

a bit of fiddling and a gutfull of Start Ya Bastard and she fired right up:)

So we rode it around the carpark for a bit, then gave it a good running in:D

It runs really well without any fiddling (so far) but I think I'm going to have to fit up the airbox for rego.

On a road bike i'd just drop the gut on the tank and she'd be rock solid.... This one's too high.[V]

The 10 Sitting on the work stand, waiting for me to finish the fucking seat unit. I dont have a registered bike atm, so this is the quick way to solve that problem.

Ha ha, nice vids large. But seriously those Keihin flatslide carbies are one of the best things you can bolt to any non injected bike, they are just so awsome!! did you notice a big difference in power and economy?

I never actually rode it before fitting the FCRs.:)

But phark me the airbox (without a fiulter) and Staintune spud make it feel like it's hitting the rev limiter way way early.

Anywho I got it registered today...$650 later It's a fucking hoot to ride. Short changes into 2nd are interesting[8D]

I remembered the immortal words of Mr Unif Ilter (the Finnish Air expert) "Airbox's are GAY!"

So I've made up a pair of pods, spaced back from the intakes with 50mm id radiator hose. Pissed the Staintune restrictor off too. The bike sounds fucking glorious..especially on the overrun.
