Hi guys,

Have had a few pin hole leaks in my radiator (CB1000) and am getting sick of repairing them. I know one day it'll probably let go so thought I'd replace it before it gets worse.

Thought I'd look at an aluminium one ( I assume they're better in corrosion resistance and efficency) but the PWR ones seem to be for dirt bikes up to about 450 cc and don't think they'd be big enough anyway. Also no two radiators seem to have the same mounting / hose / temp sender or fan locations so am worried that a rad from another bike just won' be an easy bolt up job.

Anyone used anything other than original?

I for one dont as its to much of an arse and expense to make em fit.

And stock ones are made to fit all the holes with room for the thermo fans and the like

Fimp,

That CAD drawing looks good. Who have you got building the Radiator? $600 sounds reasonable too.
