Crankcases question.

I need to replace or maybe get repaired the lower crankcase on my fj engine.I have found one cheap in the uk.
Question is, Can I use any 2 halves or do they have to be a matching pair.Is there any maching work done on them as a pair in the factory ?
Just want to be sure before spending money.

How much is it going to cost to get cases from England?, wouldn't you be better off sourcing a cheap local bike?

Far as I know they're not uniquely mated units.

Cases only come in pairs unless you want to line bore all the bearing faces
whats wrong with your cases ?

If you can split the cases and IF we can get it clean enough i can weld it!!
When i say clean.......i mean cleaner than a clean thing that's just come first, second, and third in the cleanest thing in the world competition!!!

If i can't wash him in me Kawasaki or Triumph cases, he don't get washed!!!!
