My gixxer 1100

Here is my beast, only had it a couple of months. A few things to change/tidy up. Have to do something with the tail piece and mould it into the seat/tank, then probably respray it all.

Token headlight, may as well be a pair of candles at night (tinted visor doesnt help) Thinking about using the same surround and mounting a set of HID spotties or similar in place of the downlights [8D]

Soon to come - 6 spot calipers, wave discs, Hel oil cooler, Hel braided lines all round, swap filters for K&N jobbies, HPC coated exhaust headers, fork seals, APE manual cam chain tensioner.

Last couple of weeks collected some bits and pieces. Shithouse weather and double points weekend - figured may as well pull the front end apart and start changing stuff over. Like Christmas in April. :D

So far the calipers (2000 ZX6R) and discs bolted straight on, no spacers required. Stoked!!! i was honestly expecting them to go wrong, as is usually my luck.

Yeah i seen it on ebay and after some negotiations it was in my garage the same day. :D

Verry nice bike!!! The paint looks great.
And the parts are great!! Oil cooler setrup??The silver flames are brushed?

Paint is not bad, previous owner did it from pressure packs, turned out good. The flames are the silver base, then masked out when the candy red was sprayed over the top, then cleared.

As for the oil cooler, a few dramas with the "straight bolt up" installation.

Its coming along though, wouldnt be the same if everything went smoothly, i wouldnt learn anything new either. Fun and games.
