Hi boys,
I'm still getting around to buying a service manual for my gsxr 750wn and was wondering how to take off the triple clamp? I want it off so that I can polish it up and also so I can remoce the handle bars as I have ordered a new pair of risers and some fat bars. I've already disconnected most bits and pieces and have loosened the original bars. The only thing I can see that may be still holding it firmly in place are two small screws or alike on the underside that attach the ignition barrel. Am i right in assuming that if I loosen these 2 screws or whatever they are, that the triple clamp should simply come up and off. Yes, I'm still a useless bastard!

try pushing your foot against the wheel from the front of the bike and then pulling the forks towards you and while doing all of that try and pull it off mate it should come straight off ;)

a grinder with 1mm cut off blade. now cut through the bolt at the pinch area. then cut through the frame where the triple goes through.

Yea, that will help Rexie......

Rubber mallet - hitting evenly mate. If you do more on just one side you'll be making it tighter again as it's not coming off square.
