I've only got a 55w bulb in my hi-beam light at the moment and after browsing through Repco's globe section today, was wondering if modern bikes can run a 100watt globe?

Does anyone know if this would draw too much current?

The standard High Beam should be 60W, drop in an 80W Halogen bulb if your concerned about the 100W, and your electrics will handle the 80W no probs

you wil most proballly melt the connector as stated above... but if you can get ahold of some ceramic ones.. \they would be ideal... i found it hard to find them though.. only place was a chinese wholesaler on the net.. who wanted me to pay $40us..
before i commit to buying 5000 pcs..
