This is stock '98 R1 set up showing upper & lower shock mounts and s/arm spindle position.

So now the question...
Am I better off making a longer link arm to reach my nearest suitable frame mount or extending the frame mount out to the link arm ?
Or should I move the upper mount to make the shock more vertical as per R1 ?
Or will it make little difference ?
I actually have another of the ali triangle bits that goes on the R1 arm. With a bit of work it could bolt to the frame and would reach the link arm.
