After a very interesting deceleration down from somewhere above 100 kph to zero with a busted oil cooler hose spraying oil all over the back tyre i am shopping for some new hoses. (FUUUUUCK !!!! i am glad i was on a straight and not halfway up aurthers seat) I have some second hand ones on at the moment but they are also twenty years old ( i think the busted one must be heat affected from being so close to the exhaust) Has this happened to anyone else? I am aware that it could well be my fault that they were so close as i adjusted them a while back and when i nipped them up it must have turned the hose a smidge towards the exhaust. Will the twenty year old donor jobs do if they are installed correctly? or am i in the market for some braided jobbies that would fit an 88 slingy. Any one know where is the best place to get them and how much i should spend??
cheers boys and girls
