Hi guys I got back from a 5hr round trip at about 2am last saturday (was about 18 degrees outside)
when I pulled up at home I could hear the overflow bubbling away.
Im trying to work out why this would be happening. its all topped up, it seems to be circulating fine..

Im going to flush out the cooling system (it was sitting for about 4 years)
but another thing I have noticed is the temperature gauge barely moves. if I sit in traffic for a while it probably moves half a cm.
I swapped another set of clocks over but its the same. where is it supposed to sit normally? I figured like a car it would be around half, 3/4?

I'm onto it :) doesnt suprise me considering how long its been sitting. I tracked down a spare/used sender for the temp gauge but it still wont friggin work. (does when I earth it out)
Anyone know where I can track a new one down? I havnt tried the dealers yet. probably charge 400% of retail.

take it to an auto barn they should be able to match it up.
