GSXR 750/1000 k1 k2 Swingarm into a Slingshot?

As the title suggests has anyone put a k1 or k2 swingarm out of a Gixxer 750/1000 into a slingshot? If so how hard was it?

Aint nothin hard mate,. is it a 750 or 1100 slinger ? In either case ya gotta move or make another top shock mount, As for bolting it in, The 1000 swingarm spacers slip over the slingy ones and need a little bit cut off em, about 5 mm from memory. Ya need to move the swingarm over to the right by about the same amount and then just wack the slingy pivot bolt thru it all and go for a gas. mine runs a 1000 swingarm and shock with 750 srad dogbones and the top shock moved up about 3 inches,mine was a 750 frame so I just had to unbolt it ,weld a new plate higher up on the frame and simply bolt the 750 shock mount onto the new plate. Got pics if ya need em.

Looks to have no bearings,sleeves,shaft or pivot in it, check that out first, total cost would be fairly high to replace those items.

Hey Booster . :). How goes mate ?. And pappas , I bought my swingarm for 500 bucks and it was complete including brand new tyre,brakes,chain,rim,shock and whatever else comes off when ya unbolt the whole ass end.And like booster said, prolly 200 bucks worth of bearings etc to buy for that.

Mine's complete with all the bearings , spacers, sleve's and dust seals.

Also the suspension rocker and a little custom R6 hugger.
