gday guys, just purchased this set up ( to go on my 97 b12 )that has two lights both marked as h3 and rated 55w. ok the problem im having is that when i have hooked it up the high beam indicator on my "dash" is always on no matter if it is switched on high or low. The low beam light is fine but when i switch to high beam both globes dim. I have switched around wires to the best of my ability and knowledge to see if it makes a diff but it dont. Hope thats enough info i really want to get them going.

seems though your alternator cant handle the draw on 2 55W globes

can happen on some bikes.

so it cant happen or is ther a way around the problem

definatley not a short then ?
i had twin 55 s on my old boldor with no problem in fact i upped them to 65s and that was ok too
try them one at a time to see if that eliminates the problem and work your way back from there ,
it could be a dead short somewhere in the high beam circuit thats not protected by a fuse also check the lighting relay
