As it says really.....For example FZR1000 USD versus FZR right way uppy's.
Is there a big weight difference ?
Not interested in the handling/sprung/unsprung weight thing here.

Ian at Windsor Motorcycle Wreckers has a complete YZF USD at the moment for $700 and it weighs about the same as my GSXR right way round front end.

This is comparing 2 USD front ends, but anyway...
When i swapped my 91 GSXR 1100 USD forks for a pair from a K3 gsxr 1000, I saved 2.2 kg PER LEG.

I have a Busa USD front end on my 1400,there's absolutely no comparison between that and the original..much lighter, not to mention shorter and oddly enough 1mm smaller in diameter on the inner.

if you are talking the same era then the difference is probably negligible, but if you are talking then and now k5,6,7 USDs (or R1,6 USDs) would be phenomenally lighter. but you already knew that!
