g'day all, been reading asf forums for a while now but have only just got off me arse and started posting, hope to meet a heap of like minded peeps at the afr, not many fighters here in the sticks, mainly rich blokes on harleys, which is why i posted the pic, everyone on asf seems to dislike hogs which is fair enough but have a go at this harley, its a '74 aermacchi ss 350, italian built harley. have one in the shed in pieces, will look like this when its done.

mate welcome aboard - not all of us are prejudiced against hogs...
I'd say doing speed on those skinnys would take some kind of balls...

when you get yours up and running you know it has to be thrashed around the nearest track dont you.
The engine looks very much like the old honda layout ? so that means it will beat the latest harley offerings then :):)
Didnt harley make a trials bike in the late 70's early 80's a two stroke but hey that still kept breaking down :( but at the time it looked a good bike to fuck around on:)

its a single horizontally opposed alfi, called it an ashtray head, dunno why, harley was owned by aermacchi for ten years i think, 1965-75, made some horrible looking scooters and trial bikes with HD stickers on them, the 350 ss won a lot of gp's in its day then the yanks bought harley back and proceeded to make anchors again, can't wait to get it on a track apparently they have a really low center of gravity
