Hi lads and laddettes,

Long story short, the bandit has been neglected for to long by me. Went to open the fuel tank the other day and while the key turns most of the way it does not want to get to opening. I figure the 2 teeth are stuck and not wanting to play nice. Has this happened to anyone else? How can I get these little bastards to move? Any other ideas?
Cheers in advance.

Try some lubricant so sorts. Soak it and try again tomorrow

Smashed it with wd40 a couple of days ago. Down the barrel and around the sides, but no change.

No stay with different liquids, it is just gumbed up mech, instead of lube, try brake cleaner or such( something that won’t effect paint) to dissolve gum, 98 Ron is putred stuff when it goes off, if the bike can live happily next 91 I use it for not other reasons than it doesn’t seem to be nearly as bad,
