I own more hondas than im comfortable admitting and this superfluously proportioned lump of japanese pig iron is admittedly my favourite. It basically oozes everything that motorcyclists hate, its heavy as fuck, it has no brakes and air suspension because weird cunts at bike shows dont have enough inane shit to fascinate each other with. It looks boring, It's bland, old people like bikes like this, old people and creepy enthusiasts. Ive seen the vf1000 enthusiast forum and it looks like a sex offender database. And its ugly, you could park one of these outside a womans clinic and it would sterilize anyone who's eyes were unfortunate enough to pass across it. It does have one redeeming feature which is not the staggering 116hp it makes which couldnt pull your uncle off your sister, no it's the noise it makes when its blowing its rape whistle anywhere between 7000 and 10,000 rods through the block per minute.
That sound deserves a proper home, modern suspension and brakes and a frame that doesnt look like arse.
In 2019 honda are bringing this bike back, mine's going to look cooler.

Exactly, that noise, the first time i followed scotty belshaw on his some years ago i knew i had to have one, now i own 2 because thats just how the universe intended it to be.
