Hi all,

Pretty new to the world of riding myself, I'd always threatened to do it and finally at the age of 30 bit the bullet.. Have loved every minute of it since! I picked up a gs500f streetfighter as my first bike (mainly due to the price and KM's on the clock) and instantly fell in love with streetfighters.

I'm at the point now of upgrading and am seriously considering buying a super sport and starting a project. I haven't decided what I'd like to go for yet, but am enjoying reading all the projects on here to help me decide.

On the eastern shore in the south mate. Just out of Hobart. Looks like there isn't a huge amount of Tassie members on here?

You're right mate. I think in the whole 17 years of running this forum there has only been about 10. Not sure why as with your roads you'd think it would be the majority! Two of the lads we ride with from the Gold Coast are from Launceston. They took us for a ride down your way a few years back when all the houses got burnt out in the fires (looked like a war zone). Great riding all over the state. You're a lucky guy.

Welcome mate. Just moved up to Melbourne after living in Tassie for a couple years (down bottom of the Huon Valley). I miss the roads, and lack of traffic!
