Recovered 07/01/18. However, police are still investigating.
Hi all. It's been a while since I've been here and a sad reason for my return.
This afternoon my 1990 GSXR750L Blue/White, Qld Rego IV070, was stolen from the northern carpark of AdventureWorld near Cockburn. I parked near the fence up from gate 2. To say I am gutted is a massive understatement. I've had that bike since 1988 and know just about every bolt, nut and piece on it. The sentimental value is priceless even though it was insured. However, I am prepared to put up $1000.00 reward if I get it back in one piece. A forlorn hope but putting it out there. Anyone who has seen it in the back of a ute, a van or a trailer, let me know or the Murdoch police 93139000. The police have been advised and have the VIN and engine numbers and the AdventureWorld security staff are reviewing CCTV footage of the carpark area. The panels have all been repainted in a close but not exact match, front forks have 1kg/mm Racetek springs in them, blue superbike grips, solo seat conversion with a worn bum pad with fishing traces to stop it from being lost, Tokico front calipers and later master which is a bit spongy atm, a rebuilt and raised Fox twin clicker shock in the back, the air vent screwed into the tank had some marks on it from installation, blue iridium screen with polished stock pins, recovered seat, stock pipe and Dunlop 208s on stock white powdercoated rims. Everything else was pretty much stock, something I was proud of. I still have the key so any ignition barrel and seat latch will not be offered with a key.
Anyone who gets offered any parts like this, let me know by PM, on this post please or contact Murdoch police on 93139000.
Anyone who can, please spread this wherever you can.
Everyone please take care where you leave your bike as this might be the start of more bikes going missing.
