For someone who's only ever ridden a bike 5 times in her life
to get her licence, its not a bad way to start !

Suzuki SV650 K1

Came with a Ventura Rack, small screen, Staintune can,

:D:DThe Fun has Begun....:D:D

New bar-end's,
paddock stand bobbin's,
Clear indicator lense's with orange bulbs,
One of Matt's stainless numberplate surround,
Changed panel and screen screws to stainless,
Baffle in to "muffle" the Staintune pipe.

and isn't it addictive...things planned for the future

Bin the rack after the April Fool's Run ;)
Change the Headlights to twin small rounds like Des's
Single Seat Cowl,
Remove pillion pegs
New Mirror's
Chain Guard
Lots of little "bling"
Paint Job...maybe
Tony's talking of USD forks and CBR600 rear wheels and
500 Kawasaki adjustable span clutch lever

15 more sleeps and she's off to the ASF April Fools Run :D

Fucking SV650s...had a wheelie off from the lights a year or two back with a bike courier...I went about 10 yards with massive clutch abuse and the bugger on the SV went for about 200 yards overtaking me[:I]...I tips my hat!Go Mrs N / Daisy.

Your a top bloke Russ..[8D]

Sharky sends me a PM..."Seen a single seat cowl for an SV going cheap"
($50 instead of $210)
I ask "Just cowl or with mounting kit?"
So Sharky drives back to shop, run's up a mobile bill discribing
bits down the phone to me, then pay's for it and takes it home
for me to collect later. Much appreciated Mate.[8D]

Yeah, not top quality..;)
but like every bike, its an ongoing project,
and cowl was cheap enough to change again later.

really? i paid a couple of hundred for mine i think
(ended up just using the fixing screw on top, but with an button head cap-screw
had to take an allen key with me everywhere though, only way to get access to the rear area :()

Yeah, they are listed at $210.
Sharky found it for $50 brand new, never been unwrapped.

Top has a small "push-in" almost flush, black, domeheaded plug,
won't look quite so bad when its painted black.
I agree it would be better to remove with the key,
this has a small philips head screw at the front.

yeah, its the exact same as the one i had
just didnt run the front screw, never had any problems

just sucked that it didnt use the key thought it would for the price
(bought off net so couldnt take it back)

oh well, it does look better than a seat though
thats the main thing! :D

Yeah, im looking at mounting it on a genuine seat base
so it pop's on and off with the key.
Used a black screw on the front and flush push-in button
on the top. Will do for now.

Didn't have time for a full ride today, so we just nipped down to
Canungra for a quick Coffee and Breakfast.

I took the Mutant-Hayabusa (Unfaired, Moto-X bars and unbaffled Yoshi's)
Sasha was on her SV650.

Sasha's entire bike history consists of 2500k's over 3 months on the SV.
Just to keep the day interesting,..... we swapped bikes on the way down.

I think she noticed the difference.
Hard work getting her to give it back though !

Bloody new riders and their Q-Ride open licences !

There were a few group rides on today, but we sneaked off so
she could have a play without the spectators.

Funny as F@ck to see a new riders face after their first Busa ride...:D

Lights from "Devo",
Quick squirt of black on the "off-set" clock so the still-chrome clock looks central,
Need to tidy up the wireing when its been tried and tested.

might be bars / mirrors next......maybe.....
