Is there anyone in Shitney (south preferably) that can make up basic wiring looms with correct factory connecters for Jap bikes?

The headlight and intrument loom on my R1 is way too long and I'd like it shortened and some features removed, but I don't particularly want to butcher it.
I'd rather get a new one made up (may be easier to do anyway). To do that though, the new loom would need the right male or female connectors.

Even if I could get hold of the right connectors, I could make the loom up myself.

Does anyone know of an Auto Electrician that can do this stuff?

Get a set of schematics and do it yourself. Should only take you a few hours and you'll save a penny in the mean time.

Dood, did you read all of my post? :D

I need the ridgey-didge connectors ala factory. Or is there another way around this without cutting up the main wiring loom?

i'd find a spare loom and get all the plugs off that

or replace em all without bought ones (and buy doubles)
thats what im doing with tiller atm

Yeah I meant cut up your current loom. Fimps idea works if ur not keen to cut. Its not a hard job if you have a coloured schematic in front of you.

yeah, but its done to cost

a newer bikes loom is gonna cost a fair bit
old models are different story though, pick em up for 50-80 bucks :D

good connectors are gonna cost me about 5-10 bucks each, but thats for top quality waterproof ones
