Got it home yesterday and could wait to tinker with it. Pulled it down to check some wiring and plugs.

Do any of you guys remember when it was red?
Surprisingly, no. I always remember it in this guise. Usually I would remember things like that, but not with this one for some reason.

I don't either actually. I remember it from when Chase had it and made this tail and colour scheme

I see your using the same one I have, all you need to do is after uploading the pictures, hover in the top right and there is a drop down arrow. click on it and go to share file. There is 4 options, and you use the forum share link, hit copy and paste it into your thread. then your done.
I'll try again. Hard from the phone. Mite need to use the pc.
So got it runing today. Has a drip from the carbs which is nothing hugh. But found it not charging. So toom the alternator out and the cush rubber is shot. So a few more hours in the shed to get it fixed.

Looking good bob, but like I said, maybe bring it down a little to cover the head stock part of the frame.
This is certainly an interesting build to see what direction you take it.
Cheers mate. I did end up lowering it. Cut a couple of bits of ally to mount the light off. Seems to be ok.

Good to see it on the road again. Nice one Bob.
Still a bit to do. Since the carbies have been out and placed back in its now running very poorly. No throttle amd idle is low too. Not to sire bit thinking something has been bump or put out whwn ir happenened. Also dew little thing to do.
Gix11
13-09-2017, 10:45 AM
No throttle? The idle can just be adjusted via the idle controller, but what do you mean by no throttle?
Twist the throttle and nothing really happens. Low rev build and back fire with flames.

Also the 1100W and 750W's don't like pod filters. I have resorted to reinstalling the airbox on my 1100W engine and resetting everything to factory and starting again with jetting. But as Si said, give that a go first.

Has been suggested that using the stock bellmouths from the airbox will work with slip on pods... not tried it though.

Gamma, I've done it and has improved it slightly but no fantastic result. They do need a good seal which I haven't completely achieved I only just gave it a quick try. Due to the trumpets being oval shape, they would need to have sealant for air tight seal.
May give it a go soon and see if this improves it. I need new headers too, mine are way to small.
No fire https://imgur.com/gallery/fgFHL
So having a bit of tinker time i found there is no spark on cylinders 2 and 3. Each one is from a different coil so time to start troubke shooting
New leads? Get into it Bobsy.
Pulled the front coil out and tested it. Working fine. Re install it and we have life. Its rough but im thinking that due to lack of fuel.
Parts have arrived. Hope to get into it in the new year

Good time ahead! Great feeling hey?
You fellas should know my strike rates with carbies. It runs and there is know leaks. Im happy :)
I decided to put the body work back to the way it was. I got something else coming that I will suit the new seat etc better
So my little win was short lived. Tried to start it today and sounds like it was full of fuel. Out came the plugs and now the roof of my shed is covered in fuel. Carbs out again and needles weren’t moving right. Decided to pull them down and found some seals weren’t as good as I thought. So off to eBay for a could of seal kits.
https://imgur.com/gallery/defbdY5
Also after fuel spilt over the bike I realised I made a mistake and used the wrong paint. So been rubbing back and put the first lot of primer on
https://imgur.com/gallery/U0b8Pvb
While I wait for carbie kits to arrive I did a bit on cleaning up the wheel and swing arm

Cheers mate, I have and rechecked and re adjusted to many times. But I’m stubborn enough to keep persisting
:)
So it's back together. Serviced it and waiting on a rear brake light switch. Couple of other small thing and hopefully rego.
