I posted these on my skunkworks thread but have decided to create a new thread for them...



I'm hoping to do a few more of these video updates on the projects I have on the go at any one time, these first 2 parts are on my long term zephyr 1100 project. The bike was my daily rider until I crashed it on its 4 th or 5 th track day at Qld raceway 10 years ago. It's a project that has had a few starts but basically has sat for the last five plus years untouched under the house. Some things fell into place so it's time to actually start one of my own projects, this should be a novelty.

I am hoping to start a few vids on Jason's aluminium bodied Kat
as well as its sister aluminium bodied z1000 that should be
supercharged, there is also shara's r1 with a 1098 subframe
and tail here that might get a run. Plenty more in planing atm
and if people are intrested I could do some on my workshop
and engineering technics.... Enjoy

Nice work mate! My old ears found it hard to hear your voice clearly in the video above as the music was cancelling it out. It's best to add the music afterwards if you can mate so it doesn't get one channel with lots of sounds on it. Shame, because the music drove it along a bit better as well. If you have Microsoft Movie Maker (free software on Windows PC) you can play the video back and add a music track to it.

Thanks si, good advice. The background music was just what was playing but I didn't even think
to check if iMovie had level controls, turns it has. When I get time I'll reedit the clip. Unfortunately my
Pc died and I have better stuff to spend my money on, tho only surviving on hand held is a pain. I can't complain
tho these clips are so easy just to do completely on the iPhone

This is part of the expansion I have been planing for a while, it’s the engine machining area these next pictures are of the frame that is going to hold the ground boring plate counter levered in mid air to make machining cylinders much easier, been collecting machinery to do this work for about 5 years now, looking forward to actually using them. So much cool in one topic!

Things have steadily gotten out of control si, the workshop has sort grown a life of its own and pretty much eats up all my spare time, these pictures are just a dump of the stuff I pretty much put up on Instagram. When the forum slowed down I started to use Instagram because it’s probably the least horrid. This is a few mths worth of pictures but there is like 5 years worth of pictures on my phone (7000 plus) my trips to japan with the zed world, plus a shit load of other stuff. Jason and I basically live, breathe our bike building. I probably will never get to all of the pictures so if you want just do a google search on ozzy1100 or Lynton rossington and the Instagram stuff pops up if you do not partake [emoji106]

A few years ago he brought a job lot of a few different sets of paioli forks from different model bimoto..... I don’t believe after seeing this that he made a mistake, these two are a matching set for his yoshi tribute builds, 1x z1 yoshi and 1x gsxr 750 tornado, 43mm for the z1 and 51mm for the gsxr, I just geek out over it

It was time mate, I had rung the last drops of blood out of her, truly the best zero fucks bike I have ever owned, but it was dew some major work and cash, was up for rego, tyres, chain, sprocket as well, brakes..... bearings..... alt shat the second time killing a 400 lipro for the second time and it needed new zip ties, I thought it deserved the dignity to get put out to pasture before it was time for a tin of pal.... sad day but what is done is done, have another few oil boiler projects in mind if I find myself short of projects in the next few decades one slab side and one sling shot, turbos, intercoolers may be involved
