Hi, my names Steve and I plan to upgrade to full membership in the coming weeks.
I've joined because I've started work on an unfinished project that I bought back in about 1998.
It's an RG500 into RGV250 frame project.
I haven't had a road bike since I sold my full resto RG500 in 1999, but I had about 4 years of Bucket racing, until life took over in about 2006.
Anyway, this forum looks to be a good place to get lots of useful info and hopefully contribute something as well

Hi Steve, welcome aboard mate (sorry for the delay as first posts have to be moderated by me).
That project seems great and will be a mad machine when done. A big 2-stroke fan I take it. There's a few on here and you will be making a few guys jealous.

Welcome Botlz, looking forward to the RGV500 project, hopefully you'll put a build thread up for us to watch.
I'm a 2 stroke fan and have had a few RGV's over my time. Nothing bigger though, still wouldn't mind doing an RGV500 one day.
